Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of humanshiftup.com (the “Site”) and the Services provided by HumanShift Lab (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

We provide awareness-oriented growth programs, guided workshops, learning materials, and related resources for professionals. Offerings may evolve over time to maintain quality and relevance.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be of legal age in your province or territory. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and accept responsibility for all activities under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Site or Services, including attempts to gain unauthorized access, interference with functionality, infringement of intellectual property, or other unlawful activity.

4. Fees & Billing

Certain Services are offered for a fee. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise. By enrolling, you authorize us (or our payment provider) to process charges. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. You are responsible for keeping payment details current.

5. Scheduling & Access

Access to workshops, materials, or sessions may be time-bound. We may update schedules, formats, or delivery methods to improve experience or meet operational needs. We make reasonable efforts to announce material changes in advance.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and within the Services — including text, structure, design, and materials — is owned by or licensed to HumanShift Lab and protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable license for personal learning. Reproduction, redistribution, or public sharing requires our prior written permission.

7. Service Cancellation and Refund Policy

Plan Changes and Cancellations. You may cancel a recurring plan at any time via your account settings or by contacting support@humanshiftup.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Access remains available until the cycle concludes.

Refunds for Recurring Plans. For monthly plans, we may grant a pro-rated credit if (a) a material service interruption prevents reasonable use for at least 7 consecutive days within a billing cycle, and (b) you notify us during that cycle. Credits apply to future cycles; where a plan is not renewed, we may refund the credited amount to the original payment method at our discretion.

Workshops & One-Time Sessions. Cancellations at least 48 hours prior to start time receive a full credit to your account balance. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a session fee to cover preparation and reserved capacity.

Processing. Approved credits or refunds are issued in CAD to the original payment method, typically within 10–15 business days after approval (provider timelines may vary).

8. Disclaimers

The Services are educational in nature and do not constitute professional advice in regulated domains (legal, medical, psychological, etc.). Outcomes vary by individual context and participation. Materials are provided “as is” without promises of specific results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HumanShift Lab and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of use or data, arising from or related to your use of the Site or Services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees paid by you for the applicable period in which the event occurred.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Site and Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications to Services and Terms

We may update features, content, or availability of the Services. We may modify these Terms to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Updated Terms become effective upon posting; material changes will be communicated when appropriate.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
